It can be windy so you will see KITE SURFING at the great beaches. Wide sand, blue water – it really is a paradise. A number of cruise ships stop here, but not as many as you might expect. It is set up for tourism, great hotels, and excursions from Dhow boat experiences to Quad Bike adventures. The sea is so clean and blue, and the coral full on sea-life. There is an interactive Turtle Aquarium, and you can trip to Prison Island or take a Spice Tour and see Stone Town all in one tour. The beaches could not be placed one above the other as they are so good. There is also the Game Reserve. You will want to spend more time here.
