Step inside the Artic Circle. This is not a normal Fjord route, but it is more of an adventure to go this far north in search of something very different, and that is what you will get. It has a Polaria Science Museum, because Tromso has been the launchpad for many Polar expeditions as well as being famous for the head of seal and walrus hunters. It has a unique artic cathedral and the museum will show you films of the best Northern Lights experiences even if you don’t get to see them for real. Tromso lies 350 kilometres North of the start of the Arctic Circle and claims more bars than anywhere in Norway. Most of Tromsø, including the city centre, is located on the island of Tromsøya and it is the largest urban area in Northern Norway.
