Stanley is the capital of the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas). It is a remote Island, part of a group of islands in the South Atlantic.
The Dockyard Museum has galleries on maritime exploration, natural history, the 1982 Falklands War and Antarctic heritage. Magellanic penguins can be found at the nearby Gypsy Cove.
A whalebone arch stands near the entrance of circa 1800’s Christ Church Cathedral.
