One of the Princess ships that offer sailings from Southampton. Emerald Princess entered service in April 2007 She has sister ships that include Ruby Princess and Crown Princess, but unlike her sister ships at P&O the Azura and Ventura she features two nightclubs. Princess Cruises have been described as being more lively and younger than P&O cruises, and they do have slightly fewer formal nights though there is no escaping the dress code, see below. It has nearly 900 staterooms with balconies and the familiar Sanctuary; a tranquil haven reserved for adults as well as being voted the best cruise line for food lovers by Food and Wine magazine.
You should dress for a cruise with Princess the same way you would for any stylish land-based resort.
