Dubai Marina is the place to party on land, sea or in the air! Skydivers have made base jumps off from the top of the Princess Tower which is the second tallest building in Dubai, standing at 414 m (1,358 ft). However you might just prefer a speed boat tour, a boat trip like Jean takes you on, or an evening dinner cruise. The marina is a large central waterway, excavated from the desert and running 3 km bringing the sea in from the Persian Gulf and creating a new waterfront. Along the marina there are public toilets and small deli type supermarkets so it is easy to play there on a budget rather than dine at the many classy restaurants. You can hire varieties of single and family bicycles to explore the constantly cleaned walkway.  Jean explains how to find it via Metro, which stop to get off, and where to walk for us at Doris Visits.
