The only place I have ever been openly pickpocketed, twice. They are good at it here. But I lived here for a couple of years on and off while filming the likes of Seed of Chucky and various action movies. Constanza is a seaside resort and like a drift back to the 1960s. There is not much here so stroll and relax on the front and in the old town with its Orthodox Cathedral and Grand Mosque. Back in the day, this was a top resort for the rich and famous which is why the imposing building on the Mamaia seafront is a casino.
Looking at the locally offered attractions and tours is the first thing a movie location scout will do to research a place.
