The Celebrity Equinox is a Solstice-class ship built at the cost of $750m in 2009. It has 13 passenger decks, that carries 2,850 passengers a few more than some of the other ships in this class. It has 1,210 crew including a great entertainment team that centres around the Equinox theatre where they offer the best acts. Celebrity Cruises has five ships in this class, Equinox’s her sister ships being Celebrity Silhouette, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Reflection. Like the other ships, it can cruise at 24 knots.
This class of ship offers the usual beautiful staircase in the atrium we have come to expect from this class of ship, the ones that Violet likes to parade do in Virgin Voyage if you enjoy a raunchy romantic read about a cruise when on a cruise. It has a lawn, bars and restaurants.
