Hamilton has been the capital since 1815. It is an easy place to walk round with beautiful parks, walkways, markets, historic monuments and buildings, cathedrals, arts centres, museums and parliament buildings. Bermuda is also visited out of the main season, as it claims to have a good climate all year round. It is a British Overseas Territory, famous for its triangle and ship wrecks, it is a place to dive and snorkel. It is often tagged onto the end of some North American Cruises or used on the way off to somewhere else in the world. We will be there in September so expect a film and blog if we are not shipped straight to the airport.

Ships calling on their flag countries of Bermuda and the Bahamas are routinely visited by drug-sniffing dogs. The laws of those countries allow them to board the ship and inspect for drugs without warrants.
