Newcastle, Australia, has great beaches and maps of set walks available from the tourist office. Jean took the leaflet and followed Bather’s Way beach walk. Walk along the beach and get the bus back. The Bather’s Way Walk takes in ANZAC Memorial Bridge.
The tourist office in town, a short way away from where the ship docks, has many walking tour leaflets. We chose the Bathers Way walk. It was great fun, and it ends at a bus turnaround area, so on the way back we go to see a different side of Newcastle, and it dropped us at the other end of the city.
See our ANZAC memorial page in Canakkale, Turkey, in the Mediterranean port menu.
