Marella is a growing brand of British cruising from the huge holiday expert TUI, which means you can fly cruise easily, fly and stay, or just cruise. We love Marella and don’t get to go with TUI enough, so meet the people who do. The new Century class Marella Explorer is about to join the fleet, and the sister Marella Explorer 2 will now be 2019 and an adult only ship. When it starts to sail in 2019, it will be a form of all inclusive, and the whole fleet is to go all inclusive which will give it an identity.
Brochures. It is far from easy building a web site our printing a brochure that attacks things from every angle. We try and make the brochure simplified, but putting the ships yearly route in order, ship by ship, and keeping it as updated as we can. Click the box to go through to the Marella web site page and book. Doris Visits tries to make it easy. Suggestions and help always welcome.
Chat. Whilst we at Doris Visits try and offer guides to ports and ships, the main knowledge base is those who cruise and cruise, for this huge knowledge base we offer a no moans group of Chat Sites for Marella Cruises. Doris Visits tries to make it easy. Suggestions and help always welcome, and if you want to be a moderator on a site, contact us via the main Doris Visits web site, or our Facebook page.
Ships. The Marella Spirit will continue to sail with Marella until October 2018. Mein Schiff 1 is becoming the Explorer. Royal Caribbean Cruises have closed the SkySea Cruise Line brand and that the line’s sole ship SkySea Golden Era will join the Marella fleet in place of Mein Schiff 2, which will stay with TUI Cruises. The SkySea is also a Century Class ship (see her film here) and will be the second of these two Century Class ships at Marella and based in Naples part of the year. The Dream is based in the Canary Islands in winter and Majorca in the summer. These will open up new routes in Asia and there will be 14 new adult only routes and two ships will be based in the Caribbean for the Caribbean Season next year. The Marella Explorer is likely to be based in Barbados for the winter season. New to cruising, see our blog on the true cost of cruising for what a cruise really costs.
