Thomson Cruise Banner 120x240
This film covers all the areas of the ship so you get a very good over view of what it looks like. Previously a Royal Caribbean ship, this Vision Class ship now named the TUI Discovery. With 2076 passengers, what used to be called a medium sized ship is now fast being considered smaller. It has the balance of being intimate, not too big, yet big enough to have many facilities. There are about 750 crew and it travels at a speed of 24 knots. It has 11 passenger decks and is 264m long. At the top, excellent views are found in the Viking Crown lounge. It berths itself out of the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, the two most popular places to cruise. We have many films of those destinations and many tours on show for you to be able to research where you wish to go. This film will help you get a look at the ship. It has facilities like the outside cinema and the rock climbing wall. It also has the Kora La, a fine dining experience at a slight premium. Renowned chef Ian Pengelley offers his duck and watermelon salad in a menu that has a heritage in south and east Asia, featuring dishes like Indian spiced king prawns, and Indonesian beef rendang curry. Also as an additional fine dining option is the à la carte Surf n Turf – which  specialises in the likes of marbled steaks and meaty lobster tails. Meat, fish and also plenty to satisfy a vegetarian palate. Check with the terms when booking, but TUI Discovery, TUI Discovery 2 are All Inclusive as standard that means drinks, including prosecco and cider are included. Flights and tips are both part of the package, too.

11 DECKS, 915 CABINS, RESTAURANTS, BARS, POOLS, LIFTS

There is also a very good video on our Discovery 2 page, the ships are sister ships

READ THE CRUISE BEFORE YOU CRUISE THE SEA. In the book charts, SOLO CRUISER BOOK SERIES. Violet Becket has never cruised. In fact, she has been nowhere in a long time. Too long. Book 1, Virgin Voyage has been in the book charts for some weeks now.

Violet has never had romance, never ever. As an older woman time is running out and she needs to make a change. This romantic read is based around cruises because once she cruises she loves it. That is her romance, well, there is a little more. Sally Katz used the films on Doris Visits to peg her books on! With permission. Each is a good read but there has yet to be a book based in this region, even though each book takes place on a cruise! Book 1 is a Canary Islands cruise, Book 2 is in the Baltic, Book 3 is in the Caribbean, and Book 4 goes from the ABC islands through the Panama Canal.
