If you have time and fancy a challenge, there are many mountain walks and trails. Flam is a tiny village on the banks of the Aurlandsfjord, one of the branches of the beautiful Sognefjord – the longest and deepest fjord in Europe and it will take you by surprise! There is a lot to do, the locals have really got it organised to offer you everything from canoes to self-drive electric tourist cars that talk to you. See our blog on Flam, it is a cruise stop you will like. But, one of the things you can do with no cost other than water and will, is to walk. Many people go for the fresh air and the hike.
